This time last season nobody really knew who Bukayo Saka was and how much ability he had, fast forward one year and Arsenal  fans around the world are begging him to sign a new contract and giving him much deserved praise. He is not just good in Arsenal fans eyes but he is even on other clubs radars like Bayern Munich and European champions Liverpool who would be interested in getting the 18-year olds signature.

How much playing time has Saka got?

In Early September Arsenal played Eintracht Frankfurt in a Europa league match and were victorious with Bukayo Saka picking up 2 goals in the 3-0 win . Despite some europa league playing time Saka has really become important because since Arsenal's 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in London, Bukayo Saka has been committing to a lot of first team duties as during the Manchester City match Arsenal player Sead Kolasinac went down with an injury and left Ljunberg with no option but to bring Saka on as only a week or two previously Arsenals new £25 million rated left back Kieran Tierney had also sustained an injury . Saka showed a slight cameo of what he could do in left back in the rest of the face off with Manchester City but was slightly nervy as he was being deployed in an unnatural position as he is usually played further up the left side of the pitch on the left wing.

Where has all Saka's recent praise came from?

Saka has been immaculate for this Arsenal side since new boss Mikel Arteta came in and even before this, the young left sided player has gathered 9 assists in all competitions as well as 3 goals. Under Arteta he is still being played as a left back as their is still no experienced left backs able to play due to injury. Under the new management Saka is allowed to push further forward and use some flair to get Arsenal further up the pitch this was shown with his 6 successful dribbles against Newcastle on Sunday. He is allowed to push further forward as revived Granit Xhaka can cover the left back position if Saka is dragged out at any time in a game this has been pivotal to Saka's success of recent and allowed him to get an assist against Olympiacos and Newcastle and even a goal against Bournemouth in a FA cup tie earlier in the year. The young man also has some great ability within link up play this has been shown when he is in left back he has linked up with Martinelli and Aubameyang helping Arsenal to score goals in quicker fashion. Saka really could be something amazing in the future and the gunners will be wanting to tie him down to a new long term deal!
