The North London Derby is one of the biggest and heated derbies in world football. The fixture which stands out among both sets of fans, both local and international, when the fixture list are released. The rivalry, hatred, competition has crossed borders, divided families and passed onto many generations. It is a must win game. Gloating rights are on the line as well as pride.

Over the years legends were born in these fixtures. Robert Pires and Rosicky loved scoring against the spuds, Thierry Henry never lost against the spuds, Tony Adams scored the winner in an FA Cup semi final in 1993, Sol Campbell who made the switch from the lily whites to the red and white, our beloved Rocky who thrived in these games, then theres the team that won the league unbeaten at Shite Hart Lane. Two of the players mentioned above have a statue outside the Emirates Stadium.

With Arsenal regressing over the past two years, and Tottenham improving these fixtures have added pressure, 3 vital points. With a new Emery Era well underway at the Emirates, players need to step up and produce their best performance of the season. This will not only be Emerys first North London Derby, but also Lenos, Torreiras, Sokratis and Guendouzi. With an increasing number of academy graduates in the team at Arsenal, the newbies will understand how much the game means for the Gooners from Iwobi, Bellerin, Maitland Niles etc.

A big performance from anyone on Sunday will cement their place in every Gooners heart. Personally Im confident of an Arsenal win. Predicting the score to be 3-1. COME ON YOU GUNNERS.
