ARSENAL are plotting a sensational £25million summer raid on Celtic for Kieran Tierney.

The Dugout understands they have been tracking the 21-year-old for two years and are convinced he has what it takes to take the English Premier League by storm.

Everton were also extremely keen on the Scotland star last summer and looked set to swoop - until the club hierarchy dramatically baulked at his price tag at the eleventh hour.

Now the Gunners are stepping up their interest and it's understood they don't have a problem with Tierney's valuation which, if met, would easily shatter Celtic's current record sale which stands at £20m following Moussa Dembele's move to Lyon.

Tierney - blooded by former boss Ronny Deila four years ago - is under contract until 2023.

Meanwhile Brendan Rodgers has agreed a three-year deal to replace Claude Puel at Leicester City.

The deal has now been confirmed, as has Celtic's appointment of Neil Lennon as interim boss.
