Although I am dissapointed about yesterdays result at Crystal Palace, looking back now it was one point gained rather than two lost. Credits due where credit is due, Palace played really well and had the better chances.
Maybe playing three games in a week took its toll on us, but their defence was decent, sniffing out danger quickly, and their fullbacks were solid as well as pushing forward really quickly. Tomkins, Wan Bissaka and Van Aanholt were superb in that defence, and they would improve our team immensly, as well as push current players to their limit as they are quality players.
Wan Bissaka is a young talened player, and is so good on one vs one. Wan Bissaka and Bellerin can push each other to be the best at right back, and lichsteiner is more likely to leave this next summer than stay, and to have two top quality right backs is better for the squad.
Tomkins on the other hand is experianced and solid at the back. Koscielny is aging as is Sokratis. Mustafi has polarized games where he can be decent but make a stupid mistake as well. With Tomkins experiance and leadership, he can help Holding and Mavropanos. But we would have to let a few players go, for me that would me Mustafi and Koscielny or Chambers.
Van Aanholt is another top experianced player and he plays at left back. His attacking play is briliiant, and knows when to push forward and when to sit back. Monreal isnt gettig any younger, so I would sell him and have Kolasinac compete with Van Aanholt.
The fourth player Arsenal should go for is Zaha. He has been around for a while, and has put his career back on track. We have all been crying out for a pacy winger, and he is the perfect fit, he has trickery and isnt afraid to take on players. With Emery, I see Zaha improving immensly. I would let Welbeck and Mikitaryan leave, and promote Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson to the first team.
The great thing with these players are that they are PL proven, and with that they may come expensive. But here is to Palace getting relegated so we might get them cheaper.
What did you think of these players yesterday?
