With Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan being the only natural wingers in this Arsenal side, the Gunners lack seriously in this position in terms of quality and depth. Unai Emery’s side have been relying on Pierre Emerick Aubameyang this season, which has turned out to be pretty good. However, they still need to strengthen this position before heading over to the 2019/2020 season.
The Moroccan International has had a very fruitful season with Ajax. Ziyech has had 45 goal contributions this season, 21 goals and 24 assists. He has been a crucial part of Ajax’s domestic double and Champions league semi-final journey.
Marc Overmars, Director of Ajax, has confirmed that Hakim Ziyech will be leaving this season. No doubt his performances have picked up interest from the big clubs like Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester United.
With a release clause of only £25m, he could be perfect fit for the club and is well within the budget.
The Bournemouth winger has been heavily linked with Arsenal in the past month. Ryan Fraser’s wonderful season, with a total of 14 premier league assists, helped him rack up individual club awards, Supporters Player of the year and Players’ Player of the year.
Fraser is someone who is knowledgeable about the premier league and is a creative right winger. He will be well within Arsenal’s budget and could be a decent addition to the squad.
Wilfried Zaha has handed in a transfer request as he wants to play Champions League football (UCL). Arsenal could confirm a UCL spot if they win the Europa League.
Wilfried Zaha’s pace and skill-full dribbling could help bolster Arsenal’s attack. However, the only problem is with his price tag. Crystal Palace, according to the Telegraph, have put a massive transfer value of £100m on Zaha. Knowing Arsenal’s budget is near £100m, if they are successful in qualifying for the UCL, Zaha could pretty much take up all that budget. With negotiations, the budget could be brought down to a minimum of, roughly, £55m.
Nonetheless, Wilfried Zaha is a great winger and could be a big success at Arsenal.
